Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Pulse applications for macOS and iOS and the pulsevision.tech website (together, “Pulse”). By installing or using Pulse, you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

Pulse is a personal productivity and context application. It captures activity on your own devices, and — if you choose to connect them — reads data from third-party accounts such as Google (Gmail and Google Calendar), in order to generate briefs, summaries, and working-context insights for you. All data is stored locally on your devices, as described in the Privacy Policy.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Pulse for your own personal productivity. You may not reverse-engineer, resell, or redistribute Pulse, and you may not use it to monitor any person other than yourself.

3. Your Accounts and Data

Connecting third-party accounts (such as Google) is optional and governed by those providers’ own terms. You are responsible for the devices Pulse runs on and for safeguarding access to them. You can disconnect any account or delete all Pulse data at any time, as described in the Privacy Policy. Your data remains yours; we claim no ownership of it.

4. Acceptable Use

5. AI-Generated Content

Pulse uses large language models to generate summaries, briefs, and suggestions. AI output can be inaccurate or incomplete. Pulse is an assistive tool: verify anything important before acting on it. Pulse does not provide medical, legal, or financial advice.

6. Disclaimer of Warranty

Pulse is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Pulse will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data loss will not occur. Back up anything you cannot afford to lose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of Pulse. Our total aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for Pulse in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $50 if you paid nothing).

8. Termination

You may stop using Pulse at any time by quitting and deleting the application. We may suspend or terminate access to Pulse if these terms are violated. Sections 5 through 7 survive termination.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of Pulse after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
